Feature Story Ideas
Feature stories are very significant on a front cover of a magazine, they are the first thing that customer read's, so they have to be interesting, plus it would have to be bold and standout so people will see them. I will have a few feature stories on my cover, here are some ideas that I have;
1) 10 tips to help you survive college
2) Help with moving onto university
3) All Maths students achieve an A
4) Solving public transport problems
5) How to manage your work load
6) Interview with a drama student winning a trip to Julliard
7) Help with college stress
8) How to apply for a job
9) What to wear to college
10) Preparation for exams
I will not be using all these examples as there would be too much on the front cover, so I am only going to use a few of them. I will mainly use the ones that are more fascinating. For example having tips to survive college is more important to students than having to apply to a job. I am also trying to involve an interview so that I am able to put some quotes on the cover page which will make students want to buy to magazine to see what happens. The feature stories I am creating should be helpful and should make a student want to buy the magazine. If the feature stories aren't interesting than no one would want to buy the magazine.
