Colour Schemes
All magazines have a house style and without one then the magazine would just look messy and unattractive. I think there shouldn't be that many colours on a cover so i'm going to keep the amount of colours for my magazine to a maximum of 3, but I may not even use that many. Here are some colour scheme ideas;
From this large selection of different colours I have chosen to use the Black, Blue and Orange colour scheme. I have chosen this because when I have looked at other magazines I have seen that some have used the colour blue and orange together and I think it looks very professional and attractive, so I would like to use it. I have also picked it because I think it is a favorable house style for the target audience, most people reading it will be students at college or going to college so I have to use colours that will interest them. I chose not to use any of the other colours because I don't think they all would have worked that well together and they didn't all seem appropriate for my target audience.
