Evaluation Question 7

Question 7: Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

When I began creating my preliminary task I barley knew anything about Photoshop, but between the creation of my college magazine and the creation of my music magazine I have had a lot of practice and have been able to research information to help me create my magazine. Here is the cover of my preliminary task and the cover of my music magazine; 

During the process between my preliminary task and my final task I have learnt a lot about everything to do with magazines. I have learnt about all the research I have had to do beforehand, all the different conventions that are commonly seen on a magazine, how to use certain media platforms and many more things. Doing the preliminary task was extremely helpful as it allowed me to get used to certain programs and also helped me to understand magazines in more detail before I started to create my final magazine. I have created a presentation which will explain in more detail how I think I have improved and also what I think I could do to improve more. Here is my presentation: 

I decided to create a slideshow which would show the differences between my college magazine and music magazine so I would be able to see how much I have improved and what type of things I have learnt throughout this process. Here is the slideshow I created:
